Sineath Construction is a family — fourth generation builders fortunate enough to work with families like yours. Whether building or remodeling a home, or helping a commercial client begin or expand its facility, our commitment and mission is the same: to offer you a place constructed with care; using quality, sustainable materials with enduring value and timeless appeal.
At Sineath, we are passionate about unparalleled quality and value. We are focused on turning your plans and dreams into thoughtful, comfortable spaces, deeply connected to the land — that fit gracefully, expertly, and respectfully in our beautiful mountain environment.
It’s about revitalizing a level of service that has almost disappeared. For us, it’s about being in it with you every step of the way.
Growing up, I worked for my dad during summers and after school. While working my way through college, I used my carpentry skills to build custom homes. After earning a B.S. in Industrial/ Construction Technology (and meeting Allyson!), I went to work with a large production builder. During my nine years with that company I served in various levels of management, from superintendent to division construction manager in large cities throughout the southeast.
My goal, and our family’s goal, is to understand each client’s needs so well that we deliver a product that absolutely thrills them beyond anything they could have imagined.
I fell in love with Western North Carolina — and my husband, Brian — as a freshman at Appalachian State. After college, we reluctantly left our beloved mountains to pursue our careers. I taught high school history, and Brian went to work with a national builder.
Two sons later, I find myself back in “our” mountains, and very fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom, and part of a family business that represents my values and priorities. The best thing about my work in the company is that I am immediately accessible to our clients. My goal is to ensure our clients have received a quality product at a fair price.
My first job was working for a family-owned construction company in 1993. The first project with the company was to remove the nails from old lumber that came out of an auditorium stage in an elementary school. In addition, and ironically, after 18 years in the construction industry I was able to have the experience of building a new elementary school, start to finish. I have been fortunate to work in all aspects of the construction industry and enjoy the challenges that building can present as well as learning something new everyday. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to continue to grow professionally and further my career with the Sineath Construction family.
Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, I fell in love with the mountains from the start. When I was quite young, I became very interested in building and remodeling homes with my father. My official construction journey began at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where I received my bachelor of arts in Building Science. One week after graduation I began working as Project Estimator with Sineath Construction. I have since become part of the Sineath Construction family, feeling so blessed to have the opportunity to work with such knowledgeable leaders. My goal is for all our clients to feel the same way, as a result of the completion of a project within their home.
I was born and raised in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. After working for many years in the furniture manufacturing industry I began a career in residential construction. The aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is helping homeowners adjust to their new homes with ease and convenience. I take pride in providing our clients with a result that reaches beyond their expectations. I began working with the Sineath Construction family in April of 2010, and look forward to continuing our tradition of quality and customer service for many years.

Tommy was a teacher, mentor, and father to all of us and his legacy continues on. He founded Sineath Construction after spending 40 years working in all aspects of the construction industry. Tommy had a desire to bring his foundation of quality, exceptional customer service, and hard work into a family owned business that would one day become his son’s. Tommy’s vision was one of cherished relationships, working day-in and day-out with his family and our clients, who became our extended family in the process of working with us. For Tommy, this is what mattered most and is his legacy.
