Video Transcript: Our favorite thing about our home is actually the screened porch. We live in this room more than any other room. The view is great, the crossbreeze, surrounded by nature, the craftsmanship of the screened porch itself is just a very pleasing environment. My name is Del Coufal and this is my Sineath story. [Music] Our experience in building this home really started about a decade ago when we were looking for a lot to build. When we met Brian, it was kind of like a light bulb went off for us. We were looking for someone with really high integrity. Every home has hiccups through the process and it’s how the builder kind of manages and helps you through those hiccups that really for us was most important. Our home really is kind of loosely based on the national parks. My wife and I would visit and all these just fantastic hundred-year-old lodges. One of the goals we had with this house was to build something that was sustainable; we wanted something that obviously we could enjoy while we’re here but we wanted something to be here in a hundred years and people would still be enjoying that home i would say on some of the best parts of the building process with science we’re coming to the building site at least kind of once a week i had the opportunity to kind of see the house built and some of the adjustments that we made kind of midstream are some of the best things we enjoy about the house today some of the things that make this really custom home we have a cantilever deck we we wanted to be able to get a landscaper and a bobcat behind the house and we live on a steep slope and so we needed about eight feet but then kind of once we got down here and we started the build process and we come to the build site and we’d see all the bears that were around here we thought you know having a cantilever deck is going to have multiple advantages [Music] my favorite thing about science construction is is the people that make up science and that starts with brian and allison you know when we’re choosing builders the number one thing for us was integrity honesty someone that you can trust because there’s a great deal of trust that has to go on during a building process and it just really couldn’t have gone better with with them and their team in terms of building the home
Brian Sineath built our dream home in the mountains of Asheville. It is a custom home built on a steep slope (i.e. >35 deg) that had some geo challenges. He was with us every step of the way – and has remained in contact with us long after move in. His crews are outstanding and Brian has the utmost integrity before, during, and after construction.

Video Transcript: Knowing the piece of property I had, I wanted to make sure there was a lot of light and a lot of windows in the house so that I could see the fantastic views that I had. I had many older pieces I wanted to incorporate in the house including some older doors, some very early French and Belgium tiles. I wanted to be able to make sure the house served my needs as I grew older and I could age in place in this home. My name is Robin Lowe and this is my Sineath Story. In the initial phase to this whole thing, I interviewed a number of builders and Sineath had built the home of my neighbors next door and I had seen the quality of the project and had also met with Brian and discussed the whole project and I felt that Sineath would be the one that could meet my vision on the house. They did a remarkable great job in working with my architects and the plans as well as having some really top notch subs who were able to incorporate those older pieces into the home and did a fabulous job. I was very happy with Sineath’s commitment to their quality, a commitment to their communication. They were very good on trying to get the answers back to me on any of the project pieces that we were working on. I think their honesty in all that they were doing shown through the quality of everything that they did really tells the story now a year later. Working with the Sineath team was great. They were very open to my ideas, they were very helpful in in suggesting different ideas. Their construction manager on my project terrific and very accessible. Brian was very accessible for any questions or needs that I had as well. There were clear expectations that Sineath Construction and I talked about regarding the vision of the house, and they certainly rose to the challenge and met it. I think anyone who would work with Sineath Construction would find them to be top notch, find their quality to be top notch, and I’m thrilled with the home I now have. It’s wonderful. It’s just what I wanted.

Video Transcript: Building a home is a big undertaking and not a decision we take lightly. It really started with us reaching out to Sineath Construction to talk about a sub division we fell in love with. We went through picking out architecture plans to deciding where the house should be on the lot, which outdoor spaces we should make the most of and how we could have yard space so we could enjoy being outside with our dog and our little boy. We are the Vesses and this is our Sineath story. I would say we were difficult in terms of asking a lot of questions. We’d never done this before but Sineath handled that difficulty very, very well and helped us make decisions. Throughout the homebuilding process you start with this vision and what you realize is as the home is being built there are places and spaces maybe you didn’t envision and one example of that in our home is our space upstairs. Sineath encouraged us to go ahead and finish that space. We at one point had decided to not do it. To just wait and finish it later and that room that we decided to finish is one of the spaces where we spend the most time and it has turned into this large room that’s future bedroom, playroom, an office. It’s an absolutely wonderful flex space that we didn’t envision. I absolutely love our windows. The height of those windows let all this wonderful light into the house because of how they’re designed it really blocks a lot of the sun that comes in in terms of heating up the home so the home is efficient. One of our favorite things is just the floor plan of the home and how it’s open and there are large spaces where we can all gather as a family inside, front porch, back porch, shooting hoops in the driveway, whatever it is. But also we can have, like I mentioned earlier, those private areas. Our vision is maybe when our son or future children are in the living room enjoying watching TV, we can sneak away into our master bedroom and enjoy some time and give them some time to enjoy that part of the home. Anytime you’re building a home there are challenges and there are things that are unforeseen but Sineath has been there done that. It all goes back to trust. We trusted Sineath and that’s the number one thing when it comes to helping bring the vision that we had and the reality. Would we use Sineath Construction again? Absolutely. That’s a super easy question to answer. Our expectations were very high and they were met and exceeded.

Video Transcript: probably my favorite thing is that i went from a three bedroom two bath house to a four bedroom three bath house which really works out for my family when they’re all here my name is kitty and this is my sinus story [Music] i asked synath and two other builders to give me a bid and the science was the one that did the most intensive research before they gave me a price and when i got their bid i knew it was close to the actual where the other two i felt like they had left off a lot of things the kitchen actually i found a picture and house that i liked and i said this is the kitchen i want and that’s the kitchen i got and some of the features in there i have the grand lighting and you’ll notice that there are no plugs on the wall they’re all hidden underneath and that’s gives them a nice clean look which i like i was most impressed by brian’s background his college degree in construction and his business sense and when i went to get his bid he had it all on the computer and if i changed one outlet to be something different he could change it on that computer spreadsheet and i always knew where i was my favorite thing about working with brian and sinus was they’re nice people i found them to be professional and we got along well sort of became like a family in fact when the carpenters left i had to hug him goodbye because we had sort of become a family i’m a big fan i’ve worked with him on this project on the town hall for montreat and working with him on possibly another project and i wouldn’t continue to work with him if i wasn’t satisfied each time you
Probably my favorite thing is that I went from a 3 bedroom/2 bath house to a 4 bedroom/Â 3 bath house which really works out for my family when they’re all here…I asked Sineath and two other builders to give me a bid and Sineath was the one who did the most intensive research before they gave me a price. Video Transcript: [Music] our team put a lot of effort into looking at different aspects of old mon treat and bringing those aspects into the building and so my favorite thing about the new building is how it was designed with historical character in mind my name is alex carmichael and this is my sinus story [Music] we were looking for a design-build team that could build an office building that was both practical and full of character that understood that this was going to be more than just a building but also a feature for the community so we have a 4 000 square foot town hall it serves as a community center town hall office areas as well as a police department we went to the community in several public meetings and asked for feedback what are critical features for the building it was important to the community the building be representative of old mantri meaning that it had the historical architectural features like the stone on the exterior or the stone floors in the entryway or the kind of hipped gabled roof so a lot of that was tied into the the design and the construction and we had a lot of feedback and interaction with sinus during that process kind of looking at what we were able to afford the complications of the site that we were on as well as the design that we wanted to try to bring in and we were very pleased with the outcome of the building [Music] our experience with scientist was amazing we had a lot of input one of my favorite things about working with cyanus is that we had constant communication and we had constant feedback so when we had questions or when we didn’t like something that we thought we were going to like or when we wanted to make some changes we it was a constant two-way interaction which i think is probably my favorite aspect of working with zynath was just feeling like we were partners in a vision rather than [Music] customers
